Dear Parents,

We would like to welcome everyone to the B.E.S.T. Learning Center. Our toddler room name is the “Tiny Tigers”! We are very excited to meet and get to know your child throughout the year.
We understand how scary it may be for the children and even for theparents to leave your child each day. In the beginning of the school year we work with each child’s individual schedules and try to accommodate their every need to get them comfortable in their new environment. As the year goes on, we get the children on a daily routine so that they know what to expect during the day. They will be eating and napping at the same time together. This seems like a difficult task but with your support at home and some team work in the classroom, the children adjust more quickly than you would believe.
Their daily schedule will be as follows:
• For early arrivals breakfast when they come in, if needed
• 9-9:30 playground
• 10-10:15 snack
• 11:45-12:15 lunch
• 12:30 Nap time
• 2:30 snack
During the year we work with the children on their ABC’s, counting, nursery rhymes, songs, coloring and simple arts and crafts projects. We also have blocks, balls and lots of other toys to help with their fine motor skills and coordination.
It’s going to be a great year! Thank you and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Sincerely,
Miss Katie
